Our Story

Angels 4 Us did not begin with us.

Our father, Phan Dinh Dang, held a Bachelor's in Politics and Economics and a Master of Laws. He spent thirty years building what we now carry forward.

After 1975, he built two of Vietnam's first private banks. He wrote policy papers advocating for a stock exchange — before one existed. He screened investments, drove equitisation, restructured private enterprises and brought the first generation of companies to market. He introduced foreign investors to Vietnam before foreign investment was legally permitted.

In 2000, when Vietnam opened its stock exchange, he received the first securities firm licence ever issued.

He never had the chance to use it.

That licence was his last achievement. He passed away before he could open the doors.

We are opening them now.
